Reminder
Long-term: Conviction-driven sizing is the disease — when the account is up (as now, with a stack of de-risked runners), that's the exact moment overconfidence sneaks the size lever up, so honor the standing goal and size DOWN, especially on Idea Trades.

Notes
Tried to scalp it twice. I think the nuances is I should avoid the first scalp. then my second scalp I should get out early once the 5-min 2 red bar break signals a trade invalidation. I still did honor my actual stop but those indication cause have gotten me out earlier as signal of trades not working in my favor. For scalps, it must be directional to a point where you see a clear invalidation, I shouldn't hesitate to cut it even if its still not at my stop.
Reflection
What I did well
Sitting mostly on my position and not FOMO-ing much into other trades as the market is not giving a clear signal.
What I learned
Nuances matter for scalps. i think PATH has a catalyst and even if its a 1-ATR move doesnt mean its a good scalp. I do think what I did was valid but couldn be improve further. What I did well was sizing way smaller on scalps.
Actionable takeaway
Reflect on PATH because It's like something I could avoid or improve on.

AI Review
One small scalp on a C-grade catalyst (PATH), stopped out twice — plan honored, size explicitly kept small, and the reflection already names the fix (cut on the 5-min 2-red-bar invalidation, don't wait for hard stop). Sat on the book of de-risked runners instead of forcing action in a no-signal tape — that IS the edge. Good process day, bad luck on the scalp.
- Scalps need a directional read with a CLEAR invalidation — if it's not there, it's not a setup, it's a poke.
- Sizing-down on a C-grade catalyst = standing-goal aligned. Keep that reflex.
- Book is heavy on de-risked runners + 3 full-risk opens (HIMS, AMZN, CRCL) — that's fine heat; don't add risk to justify screen time.
- Promote today's PATH nuance ('cut on 2-red-bar invalidation') into a written scalp rule before the next one.
