Scalp and add pyramid on this. It really looks good. 5-min ORB + a big dog flag breakout forming from premarket. I know that this is repeat news which might be a factor this couldn't go anywhere that's why I didn't size in that much. It's a C sizing in terms of scalp. I also in a dilemma whether should I overwrite my strategy based on repeated news. Maybe I should cause repeated news tend to fail.

Short the 5-min ORB. I really forgotten that without any catalyst I shouldn't touch the 5-min ORB. But it plays out ok. I even added the 9EMA continuation and derisk everything to breakeven. In the end this stock is just chopppy and it's not doing a bouncy ball action so I took the trade off. Protecting myself if the scenario doesn't play out I want to be is the key for survival.
Reflection
What I did well
Simple execution. Just mechanical and taking away stuff that didn't fit my plan. As long as the price action is not unfolding to what I want to see, it's okay to protect capital and end the trade breakeven.
What I learned
Improve on DRC. Focus more on the gains rather than the gap. Less or preferably no idea trade. And more mechanical trades. I have to re-emphasize always that my bias and market opinions has nothing to do with how the market/price action unfolds. Strong opinions weakly held always.
Actionable takeaway
I forgot to write BIg Dog Consolidation intraday is the easy money trade yesterday with DELL.
